Bournemouth Sports end of season good form continued as they signed off the 2023/2024 campaign with a 4-0 away win at Poole Borough.

The men from Chapel Gate got off to a perfect start when striker Jack Voisey converted from close range following a cross by winger James Bergin in the second minute. Fellow striker Sam Darlow fired his 21st goal of the season in all competitions into the roof of the next on four minutes again following a fast paced attack from the visitors.

The hosts grew into the game and tested Sports with a number of free kicks, but yet again the visitors held firm and dealt comfortably with what was thrown at them. Jack Voisey almost scored before half time, but saw his shot go marginally wide of the far post. HT 0-2

Into the second half and Bournemouth were back on the front foot with captain Matt Gane scoring early on with a shot inside the box. Winger Karol Borowski added a 4th moments later following a great run and shot inside the box.

Sports were rarely troubled in the second half and could have added to there tally late on with Gabriel Spennato going close.

A much better second half of the season for the men from Chapel Gate recording 29 points from 15 games and settling for a mid table finish.
