A highly entertaining game at Chapel Gate saw last seasons league champions Holt snatch a last gasp winner against a very enthusiastic Bournemouth Sports side and as such extending there unbeaten run to 26 league games.
It was the hosts that made a bright start with Josh Moody almost scoring in the opening seconds, but his effort was pushed over by Holt Keeper Lucas Goad. However the hosts did take the lead in the 7th minute through winger James Bergin scoring with a left foot shot from outside the box.
Sports on the front foot had the majority of possession and could have been out of sight had the finishing been a bit more clinical, but did eventually double their lead in the 37th minute through striker Jack Voisey. Holt managed to pull one back just before half time when their striker scored with a powerful shot from inside the area. HT 2-1
The visitors Holt started the second half very well and levelled in the 49th minute when a player fired through a crowd of players from the edge of the area following a corner. Moreover, Holt extended their lead on 59 minutes when a player saw his shot beat Sports Goalkeeper Marc Davies just inside his near post.
Bournemouth Sports rallied and responded well and were back on level terms on 75 minutes when Jack Voisey finished well inside the box following a corner, but it was the champions Holt who snatched victory from the jaws of defeat scoring in the last minute with a header from a corner to take all 3 points leaving the hosts shocked as they felt they deserved at least a point from the game.
