Bournemouth Sports FC 5 – Balti Sports 0

Bournemouth Sports returned to winning ways with a convincing 5-0 win against Balti Sports from Weymouth.

The hosts got off to a perfect start when Josh Moody fired home with a low shot just outside the box following good work by midfielder Dan Edwards.

Bournemouth went close on several other occasions during the half with James Bergin seeing his effort go off the post, Jake Perch almost scored his first goal for the club with a powerful strike outside the area which was headed off the line by a Balti player following a set play and Josh Moody seeing his header saved on the line following the resulting corner.

Balti caused a few problems occasionally with a high press, but not really creating any clear cut chances from it. However Bournemouth keeper Ryan Knibbs needed to be alert just before half time making a great save from a well struck free kick. HT 1-0

Into the second half and the hosts seemed to step up a level with striker Sam Darlow scoring in the 52nd minute. Josh Moody added his second of the afternoon and a third for Bournemouth in the 63rd minute finishing off when played in by Jake Perch. Substitute Taylor Webb almost added a 4th for Bournemouth when played in, but was denied by the Balti Keeper.

However, the hosts did score the 4th goal in the 78th minute when Sam Darlow converted from close range following a cross by Taylor Webb and he would complete his hat-trick just before the final whistle with a powerful header from a Dan Edwards cross making it 20 goals for the season now for the Bournemouth Sports marksman.
